This talk begins at the Thames Tideway at Bow Creek and takes us on a journey around the numerous creeks and river waterways in Essex. It will talk about the Chelmer and Blackwater Navigation which the Inland Waterways Association helped to save from closure and still runs it through a private company Essex Waterways Ltd. It passesnthrough a particularly beautiful part of the country.
